Curious Cats
Gather up the cats as they escape and roam around the world! Use your cats as resources and have them manipulate the terrain around them. A sweet and short puzzle game with completely handmade art assets!
Use WASD and mouse scroll wheel to control the camera. Press Space to pause the game. Otherwise, mouse click is all you need!
The game is based on "power-ups" that you can see on the bar on the left, and you can give them to cats by selecting a button and then clicking on a cat. Use different power-ups to allow the cats to get to the goal!

The curiosity killed the cat! Or made it make a meow sound and disappear from the screen. Something like that.
I totally enjoyed this game!
I haven’t played Lemmings, so this was a first game of this kind that I managed to try out.
I recorded a video of me playing the game: https://youtu.be/qOlkCP2YupM
(Sorry for the voice sound quality, I’m not a professional.)
Some of my random thoughts on this game:
I failed to finish the second level using the Linux+Wine setup, so I had to retry in the browser. This issue is recorded in the video. All the cats entered the bag, but the game didn’t register that as a victory.
At some point, I pressed the pause button and all cats started to fall. It’s also captured in the video. :D
You may want to add an Escape button alias for the Space, just to make it more user-friendly. I read the game controls, but I didn’t know that space=pause also implies that menu (restart) is also connected to that button.
The music is really catchy! I almost felt like singing along. I tried to make the cats purr to the melody with some limited success.
The fast-forward button would be very useful. Although this game is not tedious with 3 levels, it can get annoying with more levels if you ever feel like expanding it.
It’s funny that you can build something while in the mid-air. I captured it on the video too. :D I don’t think it’s a major thing, but it’s hilarious.
I’m not sure if I was on the right track on the second level. Is there a way to drop down 2 cats from the cliff? It was so tempting. :D
There is a slight delay in the purring sounds. Maybe there is a silence sequence in the beginning of the sound effect that can be removed (like 0.2 opening silence that can be truncated).
Since this game is built using Unity, please consider uploading a native Linux executable. It could make the Linux gamers life easier.
A cat counter would be useful. So the player knows how many cats they can leave behind along the way. :D
I adore the art style of the game.
The collision detection on the levels seem to be good too!
I believe it’s possible to accidentally insta-equip the powerup on the cat if you select it from the UI. I did it once and it lead me to a state I didn’t want to be. :D It was funny though.
Some of the icons are not as obvious as they could be. A balloon for the falling protection could be more understandable I think. As others pointed out, the tooltips could help here greatly. But it’s OK to omit them in the game jam submission I think.
